snowy day!.

I was amazed this morning when we opened our curtains and it was snowy! After breakfast we went sledging, but my sister didn't go on the sledge much because she was frightened of a dog! Later we went to a one of our friends birthday party.

French lesson

Today we had a French lesson. The man came to our house and two of our friends came as well also to learn French. We learnt the French greetings and the French Alphabet. After he had gone our friends stayed and played for a while.

Today we were going to go to our singing lesson. (we go every Monday.) But instead we to our friends house. We were only going to go in for a little bit but we ended up staying for four hours playing with barbies!!!

I made another poem.

Hi today i  made another poem. It's about chinese new year. Here it is!
Children dress up in they're new red clothes.
Excitedly making paper lanterns.
Reaching up tall, hanging them on the door.
Mother sizzling peppers in the wok.
Running through the town, meeting up with friends.
Showing off lanterns.
Knocking on elders doors.
Envelopes filled with lucky money.
Making our way slowly home.
Hear the fireworks bang!
Looking forward to the meal.

I think we're going to my nanan's house today. I don't know if we're doing anything else.

We went swimming today.

Today I went swimming with my cousin. We went into the smaller pool, and then we went into the deep pool. I had got some glow dives for Christmas.(glow dives are balls with lights in that you dive for) I took them with me and they were great!

Still snowy!

Today my uncle and nanan came over today. I made two more poems today! Here they are!

The night of the wood.©

The forest was dark and cold.

The trees were as tall as sky scrapers.

The wind was howling, louder, louder!

But the lake was silent, still.

Then the wind stopped.

All was silent.

Huddling in the cold cave.

Waiting for the night to pass.

It's snowing!©

Is a giant shaking a duster in the sky?

Is there a swarm of flies?

Is it raining?

Is it sugar?

I know!

It's snowing!

Snowy day!!!

Yesterday it snowed, so today we went tobogganing! It was great fun, but my hands got very cold! We sat on the toboggan and drank some hot chocolate!

I also wrote a poem about winter. Here it is!

 Black and white

The word looks like a black and white photo.

A black cat is all alone,

plodding through the snow.

Where has all the colour gone?

Today we went shopping. Then we went to our aunty's house. Me and my sister were supposed to tidy our room, but we didn't have enough time!
